Dear Philadelphia......
The summer sun is about to set and the Summer of '10 is about to come to a close and with it the 10 Year Anniversary Summer of Radness but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. As most of you know by now, the most epic event of the Making Time 10 Year Anniversary Summer of Radness has yet to come. When we first made plans for our Making Time 10 Year Anniversary of Radness there was one band that we dreamed of having play one of our hyper-ragers this summer. Originally....we contacted this band, their lead singer, their manager, their booking agent, their first label, their major label, their friends and even their family to try to have them play the Making Time 10 Year Anniversary Summer of Radness Blast-off Weekend in May. And you know what....it actually almost worked out. But...we all know now...that in the end it never came to be. So....we booked one of their biggest influences.....the legendary Liquid Liquid. Not bad if I say so myself.
Well....we weren't going to give up that easy. We persisted further. Again we contacted the band, their management, their booking agent, every label they've ever been on, their friends and yet again....their families. We refused to give up on our dream to have this band play for us during the Making Time 10 Year Anniversary Summer of Radness. Well....I know the suspense is killing you so....after multiple email exchanges with a Mr. James Murphy the band LCD Soundsystem decided to play the Finale of our 10 Year Anniversary Summer of Radness and on that day our dreams came true Philadelphia.
YES...after celebrating our 5 year anniversary with us in 2005, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM IS PLAYING MAKING TIME yet again !!!
Now....we want to share our dreams with you Philadelphia....and on September 24th, 2010 at the Naval Cruise Terminal we will because......

LCD Soundsystem ticket required to enter pre-party and to board shuttle bus
Shuttle bus info:
Passengers must have a ticket for the LCD Soundsystem show in hand to board the shuttle buses. For those of you who purchased online please print out ticket confirmation.
Pre-party buses run from 6-9pm
Shuttle buses will continue to run from 9pm-4am in continuous loops between the pick up locations listed below and the Navy Yard.
Passengers can board the shuttle buses at the following locations:
-Back entrance of PYT (1050 North Hancock Street behind the Piazza in Northern Liberties.
-Washington and Broad Sts (NW corner)
Buses will run after Making Time with LCD Soundsystem until 4am and will drop passengers at the above locations.
