Dear Philadelphia.....
This one was even a surprise to us.
The Making Time 10 Year Anniversary Summer of Radness just keeps getting radder.
We'd been planning to do a Labor Day Weekend BBQ at Bamboo Bar all summer long but...this past Monday two of our very good friends, who happen to be two of the best DJs in the world, Erol Alkan and Boys Noize, got in touch and told us they'd like to come out and DJ with us as well thus making... this Labor Day Weekend BBQ a total RADBEQUE!!! This will surely be the best Labor Day Weekend BBQ since my grandparent's neighbor Marianne Marciniak's annual Labor Day Weekend BBQ's in the early 80's. I don't think Erol Alkan and Boys Noize ever played at those.....but......I think Larry Levan did. I mean....with Tommy Up and PYT on the Grill, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize and the Making Time Residents DJing and the hyper-radness of Bamboo Bar and it's majestic blue lagoon like pool....This year's Making Time Labor Day Weekend RADBECUE promises to be even more legendary than 2009's University of Richmond Pig Roast with Afroman.
